tuesdays with morrie
Ever read the book? Its not one of those books that takes you days to read because of its length. Its fairly small, maybe 200 pages, but each page give s you something to think about. If you learn nothing from this book you have completely wasted your time. Its not a new book either, but a timeless classic with valuable aphorisms.
Love or die.
Think about it.. love or die. If you learn to love those around you, you will never die. Your memory will always continue to live on in the lives of those that you have affected.
Morrie talks about fully experiencing things around you, but then learning to detach yourself. For example, you experience some sort of fear. You recognize the fear then say .. ok that's fear and I won't let it control me. So you detach yourself from that feeling.
Anyways, there is so much more to this book. I think i'll read it again and again throughout my life.
